So I went to see a priest and he told me I was not cursed as what I described sounds like most family go through it. He also said there was no such thing as a curse and to ignore it. Shrug my shoulders and carry on and not worry about it.

and I may not have mentioned this but sometimes I get weird sleep stuff happen like I someone i sitting on top of me and I am trying to scream out but I call out to Jesus and it stops but I have been getting this since I was 18 and I am now 35. Not every night though and it does not effect my sleep so the priest said it was my mind playing tricks and maybe see a doctor.

he did mention confession so that is something I am thinking of doing. Although I do confess to God in Jesus name anyway.

So basically just ignore it and shrug my shoulders I am not cursed and he prayed a blessing over me too.

From when my mum was little she said her family was unlucky. Her mum had 15 kids, 2 died as babies and one in an accident as a small child another one got meningistis and was severly disabled all thisl life and brain damaged he died at 52 years of age 6 years ago. My Grandma died of a brain tumour at 56, they lived in a house with one bedroom but the kids all shared the living room/dining room etc. There was a lady across the road who was good friends with my mums mum (my Grandma) and when my Grandma died they all found out that this lady was into witchcraft from good source who only told her when my Grandma died because my Grandma was good friends with her and this lady even asked for one of my dresses when I was a baby, she was also present at my birth. They tried to fix their house but nothing ever worked and it is now a ruin. This is all in Italy. They found stuff in the bathroom like leaves tied together said to be a form of a curse. The house has never managed to be fixed and his a complete ruin. When I took my mum to Lourdes she tasted the holy water and said it tasted differently to the water this lady brought. She used to pretend to be a Christian but done all this stuff to my family. She never gave my mum my dressed back!!! My mum did not think at the time why she wanted my dress??

She definitely cursed the family to some extent. They (my mums brothers and sisters) are always fighting, marriage breakups, loss of money, but all in generally good health so Praise God for that!!! They were very poor family. their dad drank all the money and ate the meat and fish but the kids and wife just got the soup everyday.

I am now a Christian but even I am back at home with mum and we are trying to fix this house (its another house) but find it hard. My dads all left me, my real dad never wanted to know, I found my half brothers and sisters who all have an apartment each and are well off but of course I get nothing. When I was 6 my stepdad left, he had an affair leaving my mum with 3 of us all under 6. She was pregnant with my brother and my stepdads mistress phoned my mum to tell her to have an abortion, my mum was 5 months pregnant.

My brother has schizoprenia, he is now 29 and is on medication and doing better but when he was sick he grew a beard, wrote loads of stuff all over pieces of papers about the Jews, said he was Jesus Christ, talked to himself and threatened to slit my throat and my mums and kill us soI had him sectioned. He also flashed me that day and the look in his eye I will never forget the darkness over him and then he laughed in my face. My mum struggled for 9 years with him and for the first few years I had no idea how sick he was because my mum kept saying he is fine, he is in his room and just a bit depressed. I did not live at home so I believed her.

My mums used to find hardcore porn under his bed, he would watch demon films, he still does watch Supernatural and things like that but I used to watch it, its just a harmless programme right?

We are all in our 30's and all still single. Can not see my brother getting a girlfriend anytime soon but so is y sister who is 32 and myself st 35. My brother is still 29. Everyone else is settled.

I now have a daughter and do not want this for her. I want to provide her a better future and hopefully meet someone decent and kind who can look after us and build us a future.

I have also led a homosexual lifestyle with women but not now although admittedly I still have some attraction but do not want to.

We are a poor family. No heritence but we are rich and strong in love. We have food and clothes but no great big houses or much material things.
It just seems as if the generation curse of never building riches and a nice home as followed us but in Jesus name I do not accept this.

From tomorrow we are going to slowly decorate the house. The wallpapers are moulding, the tar from smoking especially my brother in his room and all over the house so the ceilings need doing, a few years back my mum was made redundant and she used some of the money to get some carpets, well the guy who done it done an awful job and you can see it! He took the money and left a mess! Again why us all the time? Hard earned money from my mums 22 years hard work bringing us up on our own and this happens?? We can not even get someone to fit proper carpets in and get a decent looking house. Modest. I pray God forgives me at least we have a roof over our heads.

We all live together although I am waiting for a council place. My brother is much better I trust him with my daughter. He takes his medications all the time.

but still my mum has been through so much. If I dare mention my mum finding companionship my brother seems to get funny or maybe I am imaging it. She spends her life on him and he never helps out around the house or anything.

Please pray and explain how this curse can be broken.

There are such things as curses. It is mentioned in the Bible multiple times.
"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!" -Galatians 1:8

That story was very interesting, but its awful what happened. I used to be into hataian voudou and there was plenty of things pertaining to cursing people and making their lives go bad. I would contact this lady ( if she is still alive) ask for the dresses back if you can, i think she may be using these as kind of a conjure item..

It would be good if you went to a priest and told him everything you wrote here. Please go for help, and meanwhile pray to the Lord Jesus Christ and his Blessed Mother.

I will get in touch with a priest but I go to non dominational church. They do have elders/pastors there who can pray too but I think I would rather speak to a priest for this. I know of one that knows my family but only jut met us as my mum and sister only just started going to mass.

There are some good prayers on this site. I would read the section on praying with Authority before you pray these prayers.

The bible says curses can flow on to the 3rd and 4th Generations and that blessings flow on to the 1000th generation.

The Generational bondage prayer on that site covers you only. Father Amor has some good ones that cover the whole family if you look them up under spiritual warfare prayers. It's actually been posted on this forum before.

The bible says draw near to God and then resist the devil. Us by ourselves have no power at all. When you come to really believe that Jesus has given you his authority that's when the power of God goes with your prayers and you will put devils to flight and break curses. (I'm not saying you are not near to God but theres always closer that we can get)

You can do it.

Sorry but you need to find another priest. A priest who doesn't believe in curses is a long long long way away from God.

You may or may not be under a generational curse. One thing for certain is that the demonic has been influencing the lives of you and your family. Don't feel bad about this because they attack all of us. They even did it to Jesus. When Jesus was tempted by the devil himself do you remember how he defeated him? With words of scripture. 2 of them from Deuteronomy. Like I said ephesians explains that the sword of the spirit is the word of God which is the words in the bible. You need to read it so you know what it says.

When you read it keep an eye out for what it says you can do or be or have. Jesus already paid for the lot. We just have to know about it and believe it and it manifests in our lives.

get into spiritual warfare. It will change your life for the better and quicker than you might imagine. Try and Hook up with your local charismatic movement. They will be able to help you one on one.

Sacramental confession is very important!

And, yes, it is a good idea to see another priest.

Definitely go and find another priest who will take you seriously. He might send you to an exorcist who is able to determine if there is something insidious going on that he should deal with.

You don't need an exorcist as in a priest who does exorcisms. You need someone who has faith or to have some yourself and you need a properly worded prayer so that you are praying for the right things.

Give me permission to pray for you. I'll do it from Australia. Distance is irrelevant. I need your permission to give me authority over any demonic force affecting you. Then I can clear em out and you'll be back at square one again.

I had better explain a few things first. A curse can come upon you by someone having a curse put on you, black magic and all that nasty stuff. In that case the curse would have no effect on you if you had no sin in your life. As we all do at times we sin and this opens a doorway to our lives that let demons influence our lives. The other way is when we sin. Some sins result in a curse that will flow on to the 4th Generation. For example a demon who's job it is to make me lie. He puts a lie into my mind and I speak the lie committing the sin. That demon earns himself an open doorway into my life. Then he lets other demons come in using his doorway. When I repent the lie, I have closed the door and he has no authority to influence my life anymore other than putting thoughts into my mind.

If I pray and cast the demons influence off my life and drive him away from me then that's good but If I haven't confessed the sin then that demon or one just like him can come back later as the doorway is still open to them. So you need to confess your sins to close up any open doorways.

However, you will not be able to receive forgiveness until you have forgiven others. In some circumstances you might still be angry at someone for what ever they did to you. This doesn't mean you have to instantly stop being angry or hurt by their actions. It's a decision we have to actually make in our minds. Imagine saying it to them. I forgive you. It doesn't mean you have to like them but you have to forgive them. You will feel the relief straight away. I did.

also don't think you have to confess all your sins and forgive everyone all in one night. See your priest for confession but also at home pray for the Holy Spirit to remind you of any area's of unforgiveness in your life so that you can deal with it. If there's something you remember during the night, confess to Jesus straight away.
Also after confessing your sins you need to accept your forgiveness.

Do these things and your life will change dramatically. For the better of course.

I hope you mean well to pray for me. I was thinking of seeing another priest but I live in the UK and ew only have about 3 catholic churches in this town so the priest dismissed whatever I told him. I told him I felt a force holding me down at down and sitting my chest sometimes. I did not tell him or anyone else until know that I sometimes have scratch marks, its like I only just remembered this. I always thought I done it to myself but now I wonder how I can do it on my back so forcefully? I go to church and I am going to speak to an elder there too. I am certain the Lord is me so I am not too concerned but I am not sure what to think anymore.

I am going to look for another priest. As for sinning, I lived with women in the past and done other things (lies etc. So I have sinner but prayed to God for forgiveness.

There are several priests in the UK that can help you. A generational curse is associated with some grave sin of ancestor and lasts 4 generations whereas if someone does some great act of faith, dying for Christ for example, their family is blessed for 1000 generations. Reference to this can be found in the Old Testament but we are under the New Convent of Grace established by the Messiah Jesus Christ.

Some priests reject the notion of generational curses & even the existence of angelic spirits not to mention Satan & his apostate hosts. These errors were even taught in seminaries and are the result of liberal professors.

The story you describe and all the troubles of your family sounds like the result of another type of curse other than a generational one. It sounds like one that comes from consuming some food or drink item.

If one says grace or asks Christ to bless their food & drink & gives thanks to God for these substances this will completely break & destroy any sort of evil that some evil doer attempts.
